ABQnews| China / USA | China hat vor dem Gipfeltreffen beider Präsidenten im Handelsstreit mit den USA Gespräche auf Augenhöhe angemahnt.
Der Dialog zwischen den beiden weltgrößten Volkswirtschaften müsse gleichberechtigt und zum gegenseitigen Vorteil geführt werden, sagte Vize-Handelsminister Wang Shouwen am Freitag in Peking. Er hoffe, dass beide Staaten einen Weg fänden, ihre Differenzen im Dialog beizulegen, fügte Shouwen hinzu.
Die USA haben bereits Sonderzölle auf chinesische Waren im Volumen von 250 Milliarden Dollar verhängt. Die Volksrepublik reagierte darauf mit Abgaben auf US-Güter im Wert von 110 Milliarden Dollar. US-Präsident Donald Trump droht damit, auch die übrigen China-Importe im Umfang von 267 Milliarden Dollar mit höheren Zöllen zu belegen. Trump und sein chinesischer Kollege Xi Jinping wollen sich Ende November auf dem Gipfel der 20 führenden Industrie- und Schwellenländer (G20) in Argentinien treffen.
