ABQnews| Tunesien/ Tunis | Tunesische Sicherheitskräfte haben in einer Küstenstadt eine Person festgenommen, die beschuldigt wird, die Ermordung des tunesischen Präsidenten Kais Saied geplant zu haben, berichtete die Lokalzeitung Al-Chourouk am Sonntag.
Die Person, die als Mitglied der „Lone Wolves“-Bewegung identifiziert wurde, bereitete sich darauf vor, den tunesischen Präsidenten in einer Küstenstadt ins Visier zu nehmen, eine Region, die der Präsident demnächst besuchen wollte.
Saeid sagte in einer Rede am Freitag, er fürchte keine Attentate auf sein Leben.
In den vergangenen Stunden wurden Ermittlungen zur Festnahme des Angeklagten aufgenommen.
