ABQnews| Syrien / Damaskus | Der syrische Präsident Bashar al-Assad hat Premierminister Hussein Arnous erneut mit der Bildung einer neuen Regierung beauftragt. Er half die Präsidentschaft Assads zu verlängern und wurde stellvertretender Ministerpräsident.

Assad ernannte Arnous im vergangenen August zum Premierminister, um Imad Khamis zu ersetzen, als Syrien mit einer großen Wirtschaftskrise und einer sinkenden Währung zu kämpfen hatte.
