ABQnews| Ägypten / Libyen | Nach der Entscheidung von Präsident Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, medizinische Hilfe nach Libyen zu schicken, haben zwei ägyptische Militärtransportflugzeuge zwei Tonnen medizinische Hilfe in das betroffene Land geliefert.
Dies war Teil der Unterstützung Ägyptens und der Solidarität mit dem libyschen Volk. Es zeigte die Tiefe der Beziehungen zwischen den beiden Nationen, sagte Tamer Al-Rifai, Sprecher der ägyptischen Streitkräfte.
Die libyschen Behörden lobten Ägypten dafür, dass es in Krisenzeiten Libyen zur Seite stand. Betont wurde die Bedeutung dieser Hilfe für den libyschen Gesundheitssektor, der vor Herausforderungen steht, insbesondere der Coronavirus-Pandemie. Die libyschen Behörden gaben an, die Hilfe erhalten zu haben, die nach einem Treffen zwischen dem Führer der libyschen Streitkräfte und El-Sisi gesendet worden war. Während des Treffens war geplant, dass Ägypten Libyen bei der Bekämpfung der Pandemie helfen würde.
