ABQnews| Türkei / Libyen | Der türkische Präsidentensprecher Ibrahim Kalin sagte am Donnerstag, dass die in Libyen stationierten Streitkräfte seines Landes dort bleiben werden. Solange das bilaterale Militärabkommen zwischen Ankara und Tripolis besteht und die libysche Regierung dies verlangt, gibt es keinen Abzug.
Präsident Recep Tayyip Erdogan sagte am Dienstag, dass die Türkei erwägen würde, ihre Streitkräfte abzuziehen. Laut Ankara werden Streitkräfte, die der Regierung des Nationalen Abkommens treu ergeben sind, militärisch ausgebildet, falls sich andere ausländische Streitkräfte zuerst zurückziehen.
Kalin sagte in einem Interview mit dem offiziellen Fernsehsender (RT Khabar), dass türkische Unternehmen auch eine aktive Rolle beim Wiederaufbau Libyens spielen werden. Ankara will die kürzlich gewählte Übergangsregierung unterstützen.
