ABQnews| EU / Syrien | Die Europäische Kommission teilte am Montag mit, dass die EU die Fünfte Internationale Geberkonferenz für Syrien ausrichten wird. Aufgrund der Coronavirus-Pandemie findet die Konferenz online vom 29. bis 30. März statt.

Die Vereinten Nationen bemühen sich, in den nächsten Jahren Mittel für humanitäre Aktivitäten aufzubringen. Das Kapital soll mehr als 11 Millionen Syrern helfen, die aufgrund des vor fast zehn Jahren begonnenen Krieges Hilfe benötigen.
