ABQnews| Libyen / UN | Am Freitag wählte das von den Vereinten Nationen geführte Libyen-Forum eine Übergangsregierung. Durch Abstimmung wird Mohamed Al-Manfi den Präsidentenrat führen und Abdelhamid Dabaiba ist Premierminister. Mit 39 gegen 34 Stimmen gewann der im Westen ansässige Innenminister Fathi Bashagha das Amt des Premierministers, gegen seine Konkurrentin, die Leiterin des Ostparlaments, Aguila Saleh.

“Im Namen der Vereinten Nationen freue ich mich, diesen historischen Moment mitzuerleben”, sagte Stephanie Williams, amtierende Gesandte der Vereinten Nationen in Libyen.
