ABQnews| Schweden / Stockholm | Nach 45 Jahren Betrieb wird der schwedische Atomreaktor Ringhals 1 am Donnerstag vor Mitternacht dauerhaft vom Netz genommen.
Damit verfügt das Land dann noch über sechs Meiler. Sie wurden zwischen 1980 und 1985 erstmals hochgefahren und sollen nach Angaben der Betreiber noch etwa 20 weitere Jahre Atomstrom liefern. Kernkraft hat in Schweden der Statistikbehörde zufolge aktuell einen Anteil am Energiemix von rund 30 Prozent, knapp 45 Prozent entfallen auf Wasserkraft.
