ABQnews| Kroatien / Zagreb | In Kroatien ist bei einem Erdbeben der Stärke 6,4 ein Kind ums Leben gekommen.
Das berichtete Ministerpräsident Andrej Plenkovic, der am Dienstag den Unglücksort Petrinja im Zentrum des Landes besuchte. Außer der Nachricht von dem getöteten Mädchen gebe es bislang keine weiteren Informationen über Todesopfer. Armeekräfte seien als Helfer in die Erdbebenregion entsandt worden. Laut Rettungsdienst wurden viele weitere Menschen verletzt, als die Erde in der 50 Kilometer südlich von Zagreb gelegenen Stadt bebte und Häuser einstürzten. Auch die nahe gelegene Stadt Sisak war betroffen.
Auch in der Hauptstadt Zagreb war das Beben zu spüren. Dort flüchteten die Menschen auf die Straßen. Am Montag war bereits ein Beben der Stärke 5,2 registriert worden. Im März waren bei einem Erdbeben in Kroatien ein Mensch ums Leben gekommen und 27 Personen verletzt worden.
